A wonderful and economical way to store my boxes of Cubans. I was worried that the low price meant that this humidor would be a flimsy piece of junk; but nothing could be further from the truth. This is a well-built and fairly attractive cabinet.

I did add some weather stripping (per another reviewer) to keep the seal tighter than the original; but other than that, this seems to be an ideal way to age a growing collection of great cigars. Someday I will probably need a bigger one, but who cares? Highly recommended!

First of all, I am not easily impressed. I must say this humidor is really beautiful. It is well constructed (no particle board) with a nice cherry finish and most importantly I have finally maintained a consistent 72% humidity for my sticks. I gave it four stars because I have only had it for 3 weeks. If I am this satisfied in another month or so, easily five stars.

[...].Anyone thinking about a small cabinet humidor would be very well-advised to get one of these, even sight-unseen. I wouldn't hesitate to buy mine again, except that I should have gone bigger for my 1st cabinet... (I filled it up plus overflow, but that's a personal problem, nothing to do with the humidor.) This one will make for great extra storage after I get myself a tower, though!It works great as a simple-yet-special-looking nightstand, & fits next to my bed seamlessly. Looks good, with a simple, unobtrusive & unassuming face, clean lines, & good job staining the natural grain of the wood... And all this at a GREAT price point. It would easily fit any of my 6 desktop humidors on top of it (a couple of which are pretty good-sized 200ct boxes), as well as a lamp. I currently keep my watchwinder on it, & it works great for that too...All told, I would highly recommend this to any semi-serious collector, but it's probably too small for someone who's serious about buying & aging sticks (especially if storing lots of full & too young, or half-smoked boxes of Cubans, etc.) for the long-term.It might require more maintenance than a REALLY high-quality (expensive) cabinet, but that really isn't an issue for me personally due to my location. (The natural RH here is close to perfect.) And at this price, who's complaining? Not THIS guy! The magnets used to keep the door in place work to provide a small gap so that it "breathes" like a good humidor should, & the drawer is a great feature for storing a small number of loose sticks, but not for those who buy mostly loosies. I'd recommend also getting some cedar trays for loose sticks if you're not a box buyer. The included shelf is great, a thick plank of Spanish Cedar, with slots cut in for ventilation & thick solid portions left, it's really well-built & solid feeling. I had to sand down some rough edges, but then it got taken out to make more room for boxes anyway.

Beautiful piece of furniture that just happens to hold cigars! I was very happy with the appearance of the item. I was disappointed to know that I need to purchase a humidifier since the unit is so large. As a first time humidor buyer, I did not know that was needed. I thought the unit was self contained. Not a problem - it is still lovely and a great addition.

Best humidor i have owned. No worry about the humidity, and a good looking piece of furniture. It sits beside the fireplace in our den.
