Actually I have nothing to compare this product. This is my first and last purchase of a humidor. So I like it. I think I wish I had a more exterior design, so that it did not look so "coffinish." But it is for smoking, so there is a certain reality to what I am doing!!! Yet it is very beautiful. It is sho' 'nough on display on a beautiufl african design table in my home office. I am more than satisfied with the purchase. I did search humidors for about 6 months, learning of them, pricing them, understanding their true function. The one I have is truly impressive!!!

A truly beautiful piece of art. Inlays are incredible. Finish is superb but color is not quite as red as in on-line photos. Needs a removable tray. It would make access to the lower portion easier. The magnetic humidifier falls off the inside of the lid. It needs a stronger magnet.
I highly recommend it for the beauty and construction.

Dissapointed that there were no directions on how to season the humador. The humidification device is hard to get water in and the magnet does not work well when it has to hold the weight of the water. The humador is a beautiful piece of work and seems to be excellent.
