So far, so good. I have noticed in the three weeks that I have used the humidifier that my cigars are more enjoyable (no dryness). There are two flaws that I see with the unit however. 1) Too tall for most of my humidors. I have to remove the shelves thus eliminating space for air flow (cigars are all piled on one another). 2) Although I set the humidification level, the digital gauge shows up to 10 point fluctuations.

I've delayed a few months in writing this review to see how this product handled my admittedly non-standard situation. I live in New Mexico where the humidity rarely exceeds 30% and is often below 10%. A real cigar-keeping challenge. Many here rent locker space in a cigar store walk-in. I tried the smaller Cigar Oasis Ultra and a cheap $40 humidor, and the combination didn't work at all. The Ultra's cartridge was too small, kept drying out sometimes in days, and lost absorbency after 2-3 months. I buy my cigars 50 at a time, but I upgraded to a 100-capacity, better built humidor (Alhambra 100, still not high $) and this model Cigar Oasis. The difference has been amazing. The large, removable reservoir has the capacity to last for a month, I no longer have to check every few days for sufficient water and, though it takes up a lot more room inside the humidor, the larger capacity box with it's tighter construction keeps the humidity levels more uniform. The combination has solved my problem, keeping my cigars in excellent condition in a very challenging climate.

This unit keeps my cigars in pefect condition! It was so easy to install and I will never use another type of humidifier system again! Worth the cost!

The unit arrived without a problem. It works great in my 150ct humidor. I'm building a wineador and plan on obtaining another unit and having two for control.

I'm an officer deployed to Iraq for 12-15 months. After using a small wooden box and passive humidification (useless here) I procured a three level humidor from a Haji Shop. The XL unit is absoutely perfect powered with a step down converter. It keeps the stock in excellent condition and are the 'envy' of everyone. I bought one for the Command SGT Major I ride Harley with in the rear. It made the perfect gift especially being deployed in a combat zone. This unit is highly reccomended and tested in one of the driest and harshest climates on earth. Frankly, you'll be glad you bought it.[...]
